BINGO!

Each year we visit Villa St. Francis nursing home in Olathe to play Bingo with the residents.  We feel it is important to support all of life from conception to natural death.  Spending time with the residents helps them to feel good, loved and wanted.  Here are a few pictures from Saturday's visit.

Life Chain

Sunday afternoon approximately 45 students and many more parents came out for the Life Chain.  St. Thomas Aquinas has been responsible for the stretch of 95th street just West of Nieman for many, many years.  Life Chain is a peaceful and prayerful way to help end abortion.  This is yet another way that Saints are helping save lives and show everyone that we are PRO-LIFE!!!

To begin the day we all gathered in prayer.

Saints Stampede

Bright and early Saturday morning, Teens for Life members kicked off the school by helping celebrate the 25th year of St. Thomas Aquinas. The Saints Stampede started with a prayer service in the Stadium followed by a 5K run, games for kids and a pancake flip in the commons.

Standing inside the Rosary

Our great crew of workers who showed up at 5:30 in the morning!

The moderators!

The Teens for Life contribution was to create a giant balloon Rosary.  At the end of the ceremony Fr. Andrew blessed the Rosary and members released the balloons into the air.  Inside each balloon was pro-life message to share with those that get part of the Rosary.  We don't know where it landed, but it was headed West!
